Land-Taking, Opening Blót, and Raising of the Glove

Trothmoot cannot begin without the Raising of the Glove, a traditional declaration that the event is being held within a frith-stead. After this short ceremony and a blót to Tyr, there will be a brief walk around the grounds to introduce ourselves to the land with which we will be sharing the weekend.
